How it works
From profile to nikah in four steps
A simple, respectful path built around Islamic etiquette: intention first, family involved, and you in control the whole way.
Create a private profile
Share what matters: deen, family, education, goals. Photos stay blurred until you choose.
Get verified
Submit ID for review and earn a verified badge so serious members can trust you.
Be introduced
A mediator, or an introduction request you accept, opens a protected conversation. Your wali can join.
Move toward nikah
Speak with intention, involve families, and take the next step with confidence.
Step 1 & 2
Create a private profile and get verified
Tell us about your deen, family, education and what you are looking for. Your photos are blurred by default. Then submit an ID and a selfie for review, so other serious members know you are real. Your documents are never shown to anyone else.
- Choose exactly who can see your photos
- Add an optional 20-second intro video
- Earn a verified badge after staff review

Step 3
Be introduced, with your wali beside you
Conversations never start with an unsolicited message. They begin when an introduction is accepted, either through a mediator or an introduction request you approve. Women can invite a wali with a private link so a guardian can follow along.
- No direct messages without consent
- Voice messages and chat, with the same protections
- Block or report in one tap

Step 4
Move toward nikah with confidence
When both sides are comfortable, families meet and the next steps follow in the way that suits you. HamKuf is there to bring you together, not to keep you scrolling.

FAQ
Common questions
What is HamKuf?
HamKuf is a halal matchmaking app for Muslims who are seeking marriage. Instead of open swiping and direct messaging, introductions are guided by trusted mediators, profiles are ID-verified, and a guardian (wali) can be involved at every step.
Is HamKuf halal?
HamKuf is designed around Islamic etiquette for marriage. There is no direct messaging without consent, photos are blurred by default, women can involve their wali, and every introduction is aimed at nikah rather than casual dating. You stay in control of who sees your profile.
How does the wali (guardian) feature work?
A woman can invite her wali to her profile through a private link. Once active, the wali can follow introductions and conversations, and women with an active wali get higher conversation limits on the free plan. Involving a wali is always optional and always the user's choice.
How are profiles verified?
Members can submit identity verification, which our team reviews before a verified badge is shown. Verification exists to reduce fake profiles and protect serious members, and verification documents are never shown to other users.
Who sees my photos?
Photos are blurred by default. You decide who can see them, and you can block or report anyone at any time. Photos are compressed on upload, and you can add a short intro video of up to 20 seconds and voice messages in chat.
